A fun collaboration with Nicky from Birch Hill Flower Farm for a gorgeous afternoon of vintage tea, floral arrangement workshop, Japanese flower pounding and embroidery.
Come and enjoy a fabulous day of flowers and embroidery with Nicky from Birch Hill Flower Farm and Melanie MacMillan from Into the Forest Embroidery. Your afternoon will begin with a wander through the garden, where you’ll choose flowers for both your embroidery and your floral arrangement. Melanie will guide you through the fun process of Japanese Flower Pounding, while under Nicky’s guidance, you’ll create a seasonal floral arrangement that reflects your own style and creativity.
A sumptuous vintage afternoon tea will keep your energy up and re-invigorate you for embroidering your flower-pounded piece. Don’t worry if you’ve never designed with flowers or so much as threaded a needle - both Nicky and Melanie delight in sharing their experience with others, particularly if you are an absolute newbie!
At the end of the day, you’ll leave with a beautiful floral arrangement in a gorgeous ceramic vase, a unique embroidery piece, and inspiration to continue on your creative journey. Everything is provided in the kits for you, so team up with a friend or come on your own and prepare for an enchanting afternoon of creativity and refilling your emotional cup.
